Michigan Marinas and Boat Ramps
Michigans Great Lakes, 11,000 inland lakes and rivers and 500 miles of Great Lakes shoreline offer varied and outstanding recreational opportunities for owners of trailered or car-top watercraft. Michigan has 7,000 miles of canoeable streams, 13,000 miles of trout waters, and over 600 access sites, many of which are maintained by local governments or organizations in partnership with the DNR.
The Parks and Recreation Division administers the program that provides access to lakes, rivers and the Great Lakes.
